Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions. You will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of our software products through manual and automated testing processes.

Responsibilities

Develop, execute, and maintain test cases and test plans for software applications.
Design, implement, and run automated test scripts to improve efficiency.
Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
Collaborate with development, product, and design teams to understand requirements and identify quality risks.
Perform regression, functional, integration, and performance testing.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.
Review and analyse system specifications to identify test requirements.
Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
Monitor and report test progress, quality metrics, and results.
Continuously improve testing methodologies and QA processes.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a related role.
Proficiency in manual and automated testing techniques.
Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, Appium, or similar.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Experience with API testing using tools like Postman.
Knowledge of programming languages (e. g., Java, Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Performance testing experience with tools like JMeter.
Experience in mobile application testing (iOS and Android).
