QA Engineer

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our e- commerce platform. In this role, you will collaborate closely with development and DevOps teams to implement automated testing strategies, enforce code quality standards, and optimize monitoring and CI/CD processes. Your work will help maintain platform stability and deliver an exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and utilize Azure monitoring tools such as Application Insights and Alerts,

including setting up notifications (e.g., Microsoft Teams).

• Analyze monitoring data to identify trends and proactively improve platform stability.
• Enforce code quality standards for backend (SonarQube, code coverage, xUnit) and

frontend (ESLint, Prettier, TypeScript, Jest, Storybook).

• Develop and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using frameworks like xUnit, Jest, and Playwright.
• Implement and maintain automated test execution within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions), including quality gates for backend and frontend components.
• Perform regression and smoke testing as part of release validation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve QA processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software quality assurance with a strong focus on test automation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Extensive experience with agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM).
• Proficiency in English and ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Monitoring, Application Insights, and alert configuration.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Familiarity with SonarQube, TypeScript, ESLint, Prettier.
• Expertise in test frameworks: xUnit, Jest, Playwright.
• Understanding of automated and manual testing strategies, cloud architectures, and DevOps practices.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Storybook, API integration, and optimization of alerting strategies.

Pay: Up to ₹1,900,000.00 per year
