About The Role
As a QA Engineer at SpeakUp, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and security of our SpeakUp® platform — empowering millions worldwide to report misconduct safely and anonymously. You’ll design and execute test strategies across web, mobile, and backend systems, working closely with engineers and product teams to deliver a seamless, high-performing experience.This is a fantastic opportunity to join our growing team in Bengaluru and help scale a fast-growing SaaS company with a truly global impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain automated and manual test plans for web, backend, and mobile applications.
- Ensure product quality by executing functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to identify acceptance criteria and build test coverage from the ground up.
- Work with modern QA practices such as TDD, BDD, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized test environments.
- Leverage cloud-based tools and environments (AWS, serverless architectures, etc.) for scalable and reliable testing.
- Track, analyze, and report defects, driving continuous improvement in development and release processes.
- Contribute to defining and implementing best practices for AI-assisted testing and QA automation.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance (manual and automation).
- Solid hands-on experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Jest, Mocha).
- Strong knowledge of testing REST APIs, microservices, and databases.
- Familiarity with AWS environments, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized testing (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with BDD/TDD frameworks and tools like Cucumber or Gherkin.
- Practical experience testing AI-driven products is a big plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
