QA Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to support the testing and quality assurance of applications built on Microsoft Power Platform. This contractor role will focus on validating functionality, performance, and usability of Power Apps and Power Automate workflows, ensuring high-quality deliverables in a fast-paced development environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Power Apps and Power Automate workflows.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track defects using standard QA tools.
• Validate frontend design elements including layout, responsiveness, and user experience.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning sessions.
• Support UAT coordination with business stakeholders and ensure readiness for production deployment.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in software QA, preferably with low-code/no-code platforms.
• Experience testing Power Apps, Power Automate, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with SharePoint, Dataverse, and Microsoft 365 integrations.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with wireframe validation and UI/UX testing.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with test management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, TestRail).
• Knowledge of accessibility and usability standards.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices.
• Microsoft Power Platform fundamentals certification (PL-900) is a plus.
