Job Description

Quality Assurance Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive
test plans
,
test cases
for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
Perform
functional, regression, integration, performance, security, and usability testing
.
Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
Participate in
requirement reviews
, providing QA input for testability and potential risks.
Ensure compliance with
best practices, coding standards, and QA methodologies
.
Investigate, document, and track defects using issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
Perform
data validation
and
backend testing
for database-driven features.
Assist in preparing test data and test environments.
Continuously enhance QA processes for efficiency, scalability, and reliability.

Required Skills & Experience

4–8 years
of experience in software quality assurance for
SaaS products
or
enterprise applications
.
Strong experience with
manual testing
.
Solid understanding of
SDLC
,
STLC
, and
Agile/Scrum
methodologies.
Knowledge of
test management tools
(e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in the
staffing, recruitment, or human capital management (HCM)
domain.
Exposure to
enterprise-grade multi-tenant SaaS platforms
.
