Here at High5, engineering isn’t just a job—it’s a mindset. The Role As a Senior Fullstack Developer at High5, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our global SaaS platform. Working within a multidisciplinary squad, you will bring together industry best practices, cutting-edge technology, and your world-class engineering skills to develop scalable, performant, and elegant solutions. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys diving into complex challenges. Clean, functional, and high-performing code is your forte, and you’re adept at working within Agile frameworks. Beyond technical excellence, you’ll be a key contributor to the culture and direction of our engineering team, championing innovation, accountability, and a growth mindset. Required Skills • Proven experience developing complex services and applications at scale using PHP. • Proficiency with PHP frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel, including advanced architectural features (Symfony kernel, DBAL and ORM data layers, authorization/voters, messaging/queues, serialization, etc.). • Expertise with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL, including data modeling and database design. • Integration experience with messaging/queueing systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka. • Hands-on experience building robust applications and components using TypeScript and frameworks such as Angular or React. • Strong understanding of RxJS and its use in building reactive applications. • Mastery of HTML, CSS, and CSS pre-processors, with the ability to deliver polished, user friendly UIs. • Experience with TDD and writing comprehensive unit tests. • Extensive experience integrating with third-party APIs and designing APIs for external consumption. • Familiarity with Elasticsearch for implementing search capabilities. • Proficiency with Linux environments and command-line tools. • Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. • Experience collaborating within a multidisciplinary team under Agile methodologies. • A strong desire to learn, grow, and push beyond your comfort zone. Would Be Great to Have • Experience with GraphQL or API Platform. • Advanced Elasticsearch integrations. • Expertise in developing scalable and performant solutions at both the application and data layers. • Proficiency in modern UI development, including CSS transitions, animations, and advanced UI behavior. • Familiarity with OpenAI/ChatGPT integrations, LangChain, or similar technologies.
