QA Engineer 2

Summary of the Role

You’ll contribute to quality assurance across the software lifecycle, focusing on test strategy, execution, automation, and continuous improvement. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system integrity, support Agile delivery, and promote QA best practices.

In This Role You’ll

• Design and implement test strategies and plans, ensuring traceability with specifications and alignment with CI/CD, Green IT, and QA standards.

• Execute functional and non-functional test cases, manually or through automation, and provide sign-off for production readiness.

• Manage defects and reporting, including investigation, documentation, and communication with development and product teams.

• Contribute to automation efforts, using and improving frameworks to enhance efficiency and coverage.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, collaborate with global teams, and support sustainable QA practices and tooling improvements.

About the Ideal Candidate

• Experience in test planning, execution, and automation across web services and cloud-based applications.
• Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Python), version control (Git), and tools like Jenkins, Soap/Rest UI.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, SDLC/STLC, and QA tools such as JIRA, Octane, and Confluence.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative and continuous improvement mindset.
• Knowledge of airline systems or travel domain is a plus.
