Overview

We are seeking a skilled Python Programming Trainer for a 3-month contract position based in Hyderabad, India. The trainer will design and deliver a comprehensive Python training program to upskill employees or learners in Python programming, focusing on practical applications in areas such as web development, data analysis, automation, or machine learning. This role requires on-site delivery in Hyderabad, with potential for hybrid sessions, and is ideal for an experienced professional passionate about teaching Python to diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Develop Training Curriculum: Create a tailored 3-month Python training program covering beginner to intermediate levels, aligned with organizational or learner goals. Include topics like Python basics, OOP, data structures, and relevant libraries (e.g., Pandas, Django, or Flask).

Deliver Engaging Sessions: Conduct interactive, hands-on training sessions (in-person in Hyderabad, with possible virtual components) using lectures, coding exercises, and real-world projects.

Create Learning Materials: Prepare course content, including presentations, coding labs, quizzes, and projects, using tools like Jupyter Notebooks, VS Code, or GitHub.

Assess and Mentor Learners: Evaluate participant progress through assignments, coding challenges, and feedback sessions; provide guidance on practical applications and career paths.

Customize Content: Adapt training to meet specific needs, such as automation scripting, data analysis, or web development, based on learner profiles (e.g., IT professionals, freshers).

Incorporate Tools and Frameworks: Teach relevant Python libraries (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, Flask, or Scikit-Learn) and tools like Git for version control or basic cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

Track Progress: Monitor and report on learner outcomes, ensuring objectives are met within the 3-month timeframe.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills:

Expertise in Python 3.x, including object-oriented programming (OOP), data structures, algorithms, and scripting.

Proficiency with Python libraries and frameworks, such as Django, Flask, Pandas, NumPy, or Scikit-Learn.

Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB), APIs (REST), and version control (Git).

Experience with teaching tools like Jupyter Notebooks, VS Code, or online platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet).

Knowledge of software development practices (e.g., debugging, testing with Pytest).

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred but not mandatory).

3+ years of professional experience in Python development or training.

Prior experience delivering technical training or workshops is highly desirable.

Certifications like PCEP, PCAP, or PCPP from the Python Institute are a plus.

Demonstrable portfolio (e.g., GitHub projects) showcasing Python expertise.

Soft Skills:

Strong communication and presentation skills to explain concepts clearly to diverse learners.

Ability to engage and motivate participants in a classroom or hybrid setting.
