Purchasing Manager

Job Summary:

The Purchase Manager will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring high-quality electronic components, equipment, and materials at competitive prices. This role requires close coordination with the R&D, production, and finance teams to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and manage reliable suppliers and vendors for electronic components and devices.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure cost savings and quality standards.
• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans based on production forecasts and inventory levels.
• Monitor market trends and product availability to identify new sources and alternatives.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to avoid production delays.
• Maintain accurate purchase records, contracts, and vendor data.
• Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, production, quality control) to understand material requirements.
• Review supplier performance, including delivery, quality, and cost competitiveness.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and statutory requirements.
• Control purchase budgets and reduce procurement costs without compromising on quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (MBA or PG Diploma preferred).
• Minimum 4–6 years of relevant experience in purchasing electronic components and materials.
• Strong understanding of electronics hardware, BOMs, and technical specifications.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Hands-on experience with procurement software and ERP systems.
• Ability to manage multiple suppliers and maintain strong relationships.
• Knowledge of import/export processes and vendor development is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,685.58 - ₹47,987.63 per month
