Job Summary:

The Purchase & Stores Executive will be responsible for handling procurement of electrical components, maintaining stock levels, managing store operations, and ensuring timely material availability for LT/HT panel production. The role requires good knowledge of electrical panel materials, vendor coordination, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:Purchase Responsibilities:

Identify and source materials/components required for LT/HT panel manufacturing (switchgear, cables, busbars, meters, relays, hardware, etc.).

Request and compare vendor quotations; negotiate prices, terms, and delivery timelines.

Prepare purchase orders (PO) and ensure timely follow-ups with suppliers.

Develop and maintain vendor relationships to ensure quality and cost efficiency.

Track material delivery status and resolve supply issues or delays.

Ensure materials meet quality specifications and project requirements.

Maintain purchase records, cost tracking, and documentation.

Store Responsibilities:

Receive incoming materials, verify quantity & quality as per PO.

Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP/Tally/Excel.

Issue materials to production as per material requisitions.

Manage stock levels and prevent shortages or overstocking.

Organize store layout for easy identification and movement of materials.

Conduct periodic stock audits, reconciliation, and reporting.

Ensure proper storage for electrical components to avoid damage or moisture issues.

Coordinate with production, planning, and purchase team for material requirements.

Skills & Competencies:

Knowledge of LT/HT panel manufacturing components.

Vendor negotiation and communication skills.

Inventory management and store handling.

Proficient in Tally/ERP, MS Excel, and documentation.

Basic understanding of GST, billing, and purchase terms.

Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Qualifications:

Diploma / B.Com / Any graduate with purchase & stores experience.

1–3 years experience in electrical panel industry preferred
