Job Description – Purchase Manager

Department: Procurement & Supply Chain

Reporting To: Director – Projects / Operations Head

Location: Shivaji Enclave , Rajouri Garden

Experience required- 3-5Years

Preference- Specific from Construction or Interior designing Industry

Notice Period : Immediate Joiners / 10-15 Days (Max.)

Position Overview:

The Purchase Manager will be responsible for the procurement of all interior design project materials, finishes, furniture, and services at the most competitive prices while maintaining quality standards. This role requires strong vendor management, negotiation skills, and an in-depth understanding of interior design materials and market trends to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.

**Roles & Responsibilities**

* Identify and source materials required for interior projects (wood, laminates, hardware, lighting, furniture, fabrics, etc.).

* Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.

* Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts with vendors.

* Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) to vendors as per approved requirements

* Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to sites.

* Coordinate with project managers, designers, and site supervisors for material requirements.

* Verify purchase orders, vendor bills, and delivery notes.

* Maintain purchase records, price lists, and supplier databases.

* Conduct market research to identify new materials and cost-effective alternatives.

* Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the store team.

* Ensure materials procured meet quality and specification standards.

* Prepare and share purchase reports with management.

* Lead and guide junior purchase executives/coordinators in the team.

Qualifications & Skills:

* Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or related field.

* 3–5years of proven experience in procurement (preferably in interior designing, construction, or fit-out industry).

* Strong knowledge of interior materials, furniture, finishes, and vendor ecosystem.

* Excellent negotiation, cost analysis, and vendor management skills.

* Proficiency in MS Office, ERP / procurement software.

* Strong organizational and multitasking ability.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
