Job Description – Store Keeper

Department - Store Keeper

Reporting To- Purchase Manager / Project Manager

Location: Delhi

Experience required- 3-5Years

Preference_ Male candidate

Notice Period : Immediate Joiners / 10-15 Days (Max.)

Position Overview

The Store Keeper is responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining all project-related materials and inventory for the interior designing firm. This role ensures the timely availability of materials, accurate stock records, and systematic storage, contributing to smooth site operations and project delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities

* Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials and maintain stock and Inventory

* Conduct regular stock checks and prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports.

* Ensure proper storage, labeling, and safe handling of all materials.

* Implement FIFO/LIFO methods for effective material management.

* Issue materials only against authorized requisitions.

* Prepare and update Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Issue Slips, and Stock Registers.

* Coordinate with the Purchase Team for timely replenishment of materials.

* Verify quality and quantity of materials received from vendors.

* Track and report any material shortages, damages, or discrepancies.

* Prevent pilferage, wastage, and unauthorized use of materials.

* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment.

* Liaise with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and Contractors for material requirements.

* Ensure compliance with company policies and store SOPs.

* Generate computerized reports and maintain Excel/ERP records.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

* Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Supply Chain, Materials Management, or related field.

* 3–5 years of experience as Store Keeper (preferably in interior designing, construction, or fit-out industry).

* Knowledge of interior-related materials and hardware is a must.

* Proficiency in MS Excel and store management software/ERP.

* Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.

* Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
