Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced Purchase Manager to lead the procurement function. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge in sourcing chemicals, consumables, and engineering materials, along with proven team leadership abilities. The role involves ensuring timely procurement, managing vendor relationships, maintaining compliance, and supporting overall supply chain efficiency.

Qualifications

• Graduate with Master’s in Material Management / MBA (preferred)

• 10–15 years of experience, with minimum 5 years in a leadership role

Key Responsibilities

• Handle procurement of chemicals, consumables, and engineering materials.

• Prepare, review, and finalize Purchase Orders and Job Orders.

• Develop purchasing strategies to ensure continuity of supply, cost reduction, and risk mitigation.

• Manage vendor selection, evaluation, negotiation, and performance tracking.

• Monitor supply chain activities to ensure timely availability of materials.

• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with:

• VAT / Sales Tax

• Waybills

• Other statutory requirements

• Handle Letter of Credit and Bank Guarantee related processes.

• Ensure adherence to quality standards; familiarity with ISO 17025:2010 is a plus.

• Lead, mentor, and guide the purchase team for efficient operations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
