Purchase Executive

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive IT Purchase Executive to manage the procurement of IT hardware, software, and services. The ideal candidate will ensure timely purchasing, vendor management, and cost optimization to support our organization’s IT infrastructure needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process for IT equipment and software including laptops, desktops, servers, networking devices, and software licenses.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to ensure best price, quality, and delivery terms.
• Maintain accurate purchase records and vendor contracts.
• Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to understand requirements and budgets.
• Track and monitor inventory levels, and ensure timely replenishment.
• Process purchase orders, invoices, and payments in coordination with the finance department.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
• Analyze market trends and technology updates to recommend optimal procurement strategies.
• Resolve issues related to delivery delays, quality discrepancies, or supplier performance.
• Generate regular reports on procurement activities and cost savings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, IT, or related field.
• Proven experience (2+ years) in IT procurement or purchase management.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Familiarity with IT products, software, and technologies.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and purchase management software.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of IT contract management.
• Understanding of budgeting and financial analysis.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Purchasing: 3 years (Preferred)
