Job Description

Job Summary:The Purchase Executive will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services required for the company’s operations. The role ensures that all procurement activities are carried out efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with company policies. Roles and Responsibilities: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors. Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate contracts and terms. Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and materials. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance. Coordinate with the accounts department for invoice processing and payment. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the store or production team to ensure adequate stock availability. Develop and maintain good relationships with vendors and internal departments. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards. Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness. Skills and Competencies: Strong negotiation and communication skills. Knowledge of purchase processes and documentation. Good in MS Office and ERP software (if applicable). Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
