Role Overview

Purchase Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and execute

  Purchase Orders (POs)

  as per approved requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors for order confirmation, delivery timelines, and supporting documents.
• Maintain and update purchase records, vendor details, and PO status in ERP/SAP or Excel.
• Liaise with Accounts for

  bill processing, invoice verification and arranging bills payable

  .
• Support in vendor negotiations to ensure cost-effectiveness and favourable terms.
• Assist in vendor development and maintaining supplier relationships.
• Prepare and maintain MIS reports on purchase activities and cost tracking.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and audit readiness.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in

  MS Excel and MS Office Suite

  .
• Knowledge of

  SAP

  or other ERP systems (advantage).
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Good documentation and record-keeping ability.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving, and time management.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Commerce / Science / Business Administration
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in Purchase/Procurement, preferably in

  Pharma / Chemical / API

  / Food Processing

  industries.
