PURCHASE EXECUTIVE Location: Mumbai Industry: Chemical Manufacturing Experience Required: 3–7 Years Joining: Immediate Preferred Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and proactive Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for our ONE OF THE SISTER CONCERN chemical manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in sourcing raw material chemicals, possess a strong vendor network, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record of cost-saving initiatives. Immediate joiners and candidates residing in the Western suburbs of Mumbai will be preferred. Key Responsibilities: · Source and procure raw material chemicals as per production requirements. · Develop, evaluate, and maintain vendor relationships ensuring consistent quality and timely delivery. · Negotiate best prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effective procurement. · Monitor market trends, track price fluctuations, and recommend timely purchase decisions. · Coordinate with the production and quality control teams to forecast and plan material requirements. · Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory. · Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to procurement. · Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness. · Explore new vendors/suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and supply chain stability. Desired Candidate Profile: · Graduate in Science / Diploma in Chemicals · 3 to 7 years of experience in the chemical industry with a strong focus on raw material procurement . · Excellent negotiation and communication skills . · Good knowledge of commercial terms, taxation, and procurement laws. · Strong network of chemical suppliers and vendors . · Ability to work independently and under pressure. · Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems. · Immediate joiners and candidates from Western Suburbs (e.g., Andheri to Virar) will be given preference. Salary: Commensurate with experience and industry standards.
