Position Summary:

Review job cards and arrange materials accordingly.

Coordinate with relevant departments for material targets and technical specifications.

Operate ERP for Purchase Orders, Supplier Rating, and Delivery Tracking.

Conduct supplier assessment before order placement.

Compare pricing, delivery timelines, and supplier capability.

Prepare cost comparison sheets for supplier selection.

Define delivery terms, timelines, and inspection stages in coordination with project teams.

Negotiate pricing and release purchase orders.

Maintain confidentiality of pricing and commercial terms.

Ensure all purchases stay within cost targets.

Focus commodities: Electrical & Mechanical bought-out components.

Drive cost reduction through new vendor development, alternate materials, and negotiation.

Monitor shortage lists and regularly update material status.

Track and ensure timely procurement to meet 100% uptime for project execution.

Ensure strict adherence to the company’s purchase systems and processes.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

• Diploma / BE / Graduation in Engineering or relevant field.

Experience:

• 5–6 years in Purchase / Procurement Operations
• Preferred Industry: MSME, Engineering, Material Handling, or Automation
• PCMC Area Preferred

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of Electrical components: Electric Motors, VFDs, PLCs, Switchgears, Relays, Sensors, Control Panels, Limit Switches, etc.
• Strong negotiation skills and expertise in vendor development
• Familiarity with ERP systems and documentation practices
• Ability to identify and onboard new suppliers
• Good coordination, follow-up, and communication skills
• Capable of maintaining audit-ready documentation
