We are seeking a highly motivated Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing mechanical components and systems in compliance with ASME standards and other applicable industry codes. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop innovative, cost-effective, and manufacturable solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design mechanical systems, assemblies, and components using 3D CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD). Ensure all designs comply with ASME standards (e.g., ASME Y14.5, ASME BPVC, ASME B31.3) and relevant regulatory requirements. Conduct engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection for various applications. Perform FEA and other simulations to validate design performance. Create and maintain detailed engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation. Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams to ensure design feasibility and cost-effectiveness. Support prototype development, testing, and iteration processes. Review and analyze feedback from testing or field data to implement design improvements. Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and root cause analysis activities. Stay current with new materials, manufacturing technologies, and industry best practices Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering . 3+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering. Proficient in CAD tools (SolidWorks, Inventor, or equivalent). Strong understanding of GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards . Knowledge of relevant codes such as ASME BPVC (Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code) , ASME B31.3 (Process Piping) , or other mechanical standards. Experience with FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus) is a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
