Proposal Engineering/ Inside Sales Engineer for Gurgaon Location

EDUCATION, PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Education, Professional Qualification:

• Minimum qualification is a Bachelor degree in Engineering.
• A degree in Mechanical Engineering would be preferable. Other disciplines of engineering are also acceptable, excluding Computer Science.

Experience: Some prior experience (2 to 3 years) as Sales/Inside Sales/Proposal Engineer would be preferred.c

Skills: Excellent communication, both oral and written. Excellent presentation skills, Computer proficiency in MS Office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook is a key requirement for the job.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS

a. Virtual selling

b. Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails

c. Understanding customer needs and offering suitable solutions

d. Help in product selection

e. Tech / Project discussions / Negotiation meetings with customer

f. Co-ordination with Commercial & Admin to clarify customer queries

g. Quote Follow up

h. Alignment with Company - VIP Reports ( VAEs ), Commercialized products sales

i. Energy Audits

j. Customer Trainings

k. Customer Presentations

l. Coordinate with HO and regional teams to execute industry marketing events in North India, ensuring brand presence and smooth execution

m. Minimum qualification is a Bachelor degree in Engineering.

n. A degree in Mechanical Engineering would be preferable. Other disciplines of engineering are also acceptable, excluding Computer Science.

o. Technical ability should be good as the job involves selection of products based on customer specifications.

p. Some prior experience (2 to 3 years) as Sales/Inside Sales/Proposal Engineer would be preferred.

q. Candidates should live nearby the office (max 45 minutes time to reach work). If not located nearby, they should be ready to move so commuting time to the office is not more than 45 minutes.

r. Superior verbal and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of local language is preferred.

CTC would be best in class and will not be a constraint for a deserving candidate with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. CTC will consist of a fixed base salary and few variable components that are linked to performance. In addition to this, benefits like medical insurance for family, PF, gratuity is available for employees who complete their training program successfully.
