We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient Proposal Engineer to join our team at our Ghaziabad office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing technical and commercial proposals for boilers and heat exchanger systems and supporting business growth through accurate estimation and project planning. Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Proposal Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing technical and commercial proposals for boiler and heat exchanger systems. The role involves working closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure competitive and technically sound proposals aligned with industry standards such as ASME, IBR, and TEMA. Key Responsibilities: Prepare comprehensive technical and commercial proposals based on client specifications and project requirements. Conduct cost estimation for materials, fabrication, and labor to ensure profitability and competitiveness. Develop P&ID diagrams using AutoCAD and Cadison. Perform heat and mass balance calculations and thermal design. Prepare and update equipment datasheets, spare lists, and O&M manuals. Evaluate vendor quotations for bought-out items and provide technical clearance to the purchase team. Participate in customer/vendor meetings for proposal discussions and clarifications. Support budget planning and project costing using estimation tools. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E. Mechanical). 1–2 years of relevant experience in proposal, design, or estimation engineering in the boiler/heat exchanger industry. Technical Skills: Proficiency in thermal and mechanical design, proposal writing, and cost estimation. Working knowledge of design software such as HTRI, KED, Ganapathy, AutoCAD, and Cadison. Familiarity with codes and standards including ASME, IBR, and TEMA. Preferred Projects/Experience: Waste Heat Recovery Boilers TEMA Type Heat Exchangers Electric-TF Heaters, Superheaters, HWG, HAG, APH Heat Recovery Units Key Attributes: Strong analytical and documentation skills.
