Position: Proposal Engineer

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Proposal Engineer located in Pune. The Proposal Engineer will be responsible for preparing and writing proposals, ensuring the technical and commercial aspects align with client requirements. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with the sales and procurement teams, conducting detailed analysis of project specifications, and coordinating with electrical engineering teams to develop comprehensive proposals. The role demands strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare technical & commercial proposals for ETP, STP, WTP, RO, UF, and ZLD systems
• Review client inquiries, specifications, and tender documents
• Develop process flow diagrams, equipment sizing, and BOQs
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and sales teams for proposal preparation
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of proposals and tenders

Requirements:

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering
• 2–5 years of experience in proposal/tendering for water & wastewater projects
• Strong knowledge of treatment processes and plant design
• Excellent communication and MS Office skills
