Job Description – Proposal EngineerJob Summary

The Proposal Engineer will be responsible for preparing technical and commercial proposals for pumps and related industrial systems, coordinating with internal teams and clients, and supporting sales activities. The role requires collaboration with the engineering, sales, and project teams to ensure timely and accurate submission of offers and reports.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals for pumps and industrial systems (preferably Ebara make or equivalent).

· Coordinate with electricians, plumbers, and site engineers for project execution and proposal accuracy.

· Maintain regular communication with clients, ensuring clarity and prompt responses.

· Generate and maintain sales and engineering reports — weekly, monthly, and as required.

· Support the sales team by preparing offers from time to time and ensuring alignment with client requirements.

· Collaborate with the project, sales, and engineering teams to ensure smooth communication and workflow.

· Ensure internal coordination and documentation are up to date.

· Assist in maintaining client communication and relationships for ongoing and future projects.

Requirements

Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.

Experience: 2–5 years of experience in the pumps industry or similar industrial sector.

Skills:

· Strong communication and coordination abilities

· Knowledge of industrial pumps and related systems

· Proficiency in preparing technical proposals and offers

· Ability to analyze client requirements and prepare cost-effective solutions

· Good command of MS Office and reporting tools

Preferred

Prior experience with Ebara or similar pump brands.

Exposure to water supply, fire-fighting, or industrial piping projects.

Scope and Nature of Duties & Responsibilities

· Develop technical and commercial proposals, clearly defining project scope, timelines, deliverables, and cost estimates.

· Analyze client requirements to design optimal solutions and develop competitive pricing strategies.

· Collaborate closely with the sales, engineering, and project teams to ensure technical and commercial accuracy of all proposals.

· Maintain effective communication with clients to clarify technical specifications and ensure alignment with project needs.

· Identify potential project risks, ensuring all proposals comply with relevant standards, specifications, and client requirements.

· Maintain organized documentation, monitor proposal status, and ensure timely submission and follow-up of offers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
