Position Overview:

The Proposal Engineer will be responsible for preparing competitive, technically accurate, and commercially viable proposals for sludge drying and related wastewater treatment equipment. This role requires close collaboration with the sales, design, engineering, and procurement teams to understand client requirements and deliver customized solutions that align with company capabilities and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review client inquiries, tender documents, and specifications to understand technical and commercial requirements.
• Develop detailed techno-commercial proposals for sludge drying systems, including process design, equipment sizing, cost estimation, and scope definition.
• Coordinate with internal engineering, R&D, and procurement teams to ensure proposals are technically sound and feasible.
• Liaise with vendors and subcontractors for quotations and incorporate them into offers.
• Draft technical documentation, process flow diagrams, and system layouts for inclusion in proposals.
• Ensure all proposals comply with company standards, customer requirements, and relevant regulations.
• Support the sales team during technical discussions, client presentations, and negotiations.
• Maintain a database of proposals, quotations, and standard pricing templates for efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Environmental Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience: 5-6 years in proposal engineering, preferably in water/wastewater treatment, sludge drying, or process equipment industry.
• Strong understanding of sludge drying technologies, thermal systems, and wastewater treatment processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD (basic layouts), and costing tools.

Pay: ₹11,876.25 - ₹50,000.00 per month
