.In this role, you will oversee a multi-stakeholder project focused on sustainable and ethical practices in the natural ingredients sector. You will manage project planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation, while collaborating with local suppliers, implementing partners, and industry stakeholders. This position requires frequent field visits, strong coordination skills, and the ability to balance administrative, technical, and strategic responsibilities. You will contribute to capacity building, develop tools and training materials, and facilitate the implementation of human rights and labor standards in supply chains. The role is remote with travel across India and offers an opportunity to create measurable impact in social compliance, responsible sourcing, and community engagement.
- Accountabilities
- Lead planning, execution, and monitoring of project activities, ensuring alignment with objectives and timelines.
- Oversee partnerships with local suppliers, processors, and implementing partners, providing technical guidance and capacity building.
- Conduct field-level assessments, including worker profiling, supply chain mapping, grievance mechanism evaluation, and wage benchmarking.
- Facilitate coalition governance, advisory committees, and partner coordination meetings.
- Develop progress reports, case studies, and internal updates to inform stakeholders.
- Manage project procurement processes, budgets, and compliance with reporting requirements.
- Support external communications, stakeholder engagement, and representation at meetings and events.
- Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience managing multi-stakeholder projects in human rights, responsible sourcing, occupational safety, or child labor remediation.
- Strong background in project monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
- Experience in capacity-building, training, and facilitation of workshops or field visits.
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency with MS Office Suite; experience with MacOS preferred.
- High-level written and oral communication skills, with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters.
- Strong organizational, program management, and time management skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Commitment to ethical sourcing, human rights, and labor protection initiatives.
