We are looking for a highly experienced professional with 12+ years of expertise in the automotive industry to lead complex industrial projects from concept through to release. The role requires a strong technical background in mechanical engineering, proven leadership in project execution and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will ensure seamless project delivery by managing resources, risks and technical documentation while maintaining the highest standards of quality, cost efficiency and compliance.

• Lead and coordinate engineering teams across crucial manufacturing processes
• Plan and initiate projects, including resource allocation, kick-off meetings and development of risk management strategies
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align project goals, schedules and deliverables
• Provide regular project reporting to management and customers
• Conduct project reviews, identify constraints and implement improvement measures
• Ensure efficient documentation and data management, enabling accuracy and traceability
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including DVP, DFMEA, PFMEA, drawings and control plan reviews
• Drive product design concepts through to release, ensuring quality, reliability and compliance with standards

• Education:
  
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Experience:
  • 12+ years of relevant experience in engineering within the automotive sector, preferably from similar type of industry
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale, complex projects across the full lifecycle
• Knowledge:
  • In-depth knowledge of project lifecycle management methodologies
  • Strong understanding of cost reduction techniques (VAVE practices)
  • Familiarity with APQP and related quality frameworks
  • Comprehensive knowledge of DFMEA, PFMEA, DVP and control plan processes
• Skills:
  • Strong project management and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Advanced problem-solving and risk management abilities
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken
