Quant Solar Technologies Pvt Ltd is a cleantech firm founded in 2016, and one of the pioneers of Floating Solar PV (FSPV) technology globally, with several patent filings. Quant Solar is endtoend: from site feasibility & bathymetric surveys, design & engineering, material procurement, manufacturing of floating systems, through installation, commissioning, and O&M. They emphasize economical, indigenous engineering with robust R&D, quality assurance, and inhouse manufacturing capability.

Role Overview

The Project Manager will lead floating solar projects from planning through execution & commissioning, ensuring timely delivery, within cost, and in compliance with quality, safety, and environmental norms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project planning: define scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
• Perform site feasibility checks and design reviews.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors/vendors.
• Oversee construction, installation, and commissioning activities.
• Monitor project progress and mitigate risks.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, environmental, and safety standards.
• Manage procurement and logistics.
• Stakeholder management with clients and authorities.
• Prepare and share regular progress reports.
• Support postcommissioning activities including O&M readiness.

Experience & Qualifications

• B.Tech/BE in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in solar/renewable project execution (Floating Solar preferred).
• Strong project management skills across planning, execution, and commissioning.
• Leadership, communication, and problemsolving abilities.
• Proficiency in project management tools.
• Experience in procurement and vendor management.
• Willingness to travel and ability to manage site operations.
