Job Description

Define clear project goals, scope, and deliverables in alignment with company objectives. Develop and manage comprehensive project timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource plans. Lead robotics projects involving embedded systems, ROS integration, AI modules, and application development. Possess strong hands-on knowledge of microcontrollers and embedded programming. Supervise firmware development, sensor-actuator interfacing, and low-level hardware control. Ensure proper architecture and deployment of ROS/ROS2 systems including mapping, navigation, and custom node development. Oversee AI/ML integration (YOLO, TensorFlow, OpenCV, etc.) for robotic perception and decision-making. Manage CAD-based mechanical design, component selection, and assembly for custom robotics platforms. Oversee PCB design, electronics prototyping, and system integration using tools like Altium or KiCAD. Coordinate the development of mobile or web applications for robot control and monitoring (Flutter, React Native, or native stacks). Bridge communication between hardware, software, design, and AI teams to ensure seamless integration. Identify potential technical and operational risks; develop and implement mitigation strategies. Troubleshoot system issues during development and deployment phases to ensure smooth execution. Lead sprint planning, weekly reviews, and milestone-based execution with clear documentation. Track and control project costs, procurement, and vendor management to ensure budget adherence. Research and apply for relevant tech grants, funding opportunities, or sponsorships. Maintain strict adherence to best practices in robotics safety, software reliability, and hardware modularity. Ensure scalable and maintainable system design principles are followed across the team. 2+ years of proven experience in managing robotics or deep-tech product development projects. Strong understanding of IoT communication protocols (MQTT, WebSocket, HTTP) and cloud integration. Excellent technical leadership, documentation, and decision-making skills.
