Position : Project Manager Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Project Manager to oversee construction projects from initiation to completion. The role involves manpower procurement, client management, material management, and ensuring the seamless execution of the project within deadlines. The ideal candidate should possess excellent leadership qualities, planning skills, and the ability to manage finances, resources, and teams effectively at the site level. Key Responsibilities : 1. Manpower Procurement: Identify staffing needs for projects and recruit skilled personnel. Manage on-site labor efficiently to ensure smooth operations. 2. Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients. Ensure client satisfaction by maintaining strong communication and addressing concerns promptly. 3. Material Management (Store Management): Oversee the procurement, storage, and inventory of construction materials. Monitor material usage and prevent wastage. 4. Planning and Coordination: Prepare and execute detailed project plans and schedules. Coordinate with team members, stakeholders, and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of tasks. 5. Monitoring and Reporting: Prepare and submit Daily Labour Reports (DLR), Daily Progress Reports (DPR), and other project updates. Analyze project progress and implement corrective measures as needed. 6. Cost and Finance Management: Monitor project budgets and manage finances at the site level. Verify and approve bills for contractors and vendors. 7. Team Management: Foster team spirit and ensure effective communication among staff. Develop staff requirements and handle workforce planning efficiently. 8. Quality Assurance: Prepare and manage Bill of Quantities (BOQ), Bar Bending Schedules (BBS), and related documentation. Ensure high-quality construction standards and adherence to project specifications. 9. Leadership and Problem-Solving: Lead by example, motivating teams to perform at their best. Resolve on-site issues promptly with a positive attitude and effective communication. 10. Labour and Safety Management: Oversee labor operations to maintain productivity and harmony. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations. Key Skills and Qualifications : Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Exceptional planning and organizational abilities. Proficiency in project reporting and documentation (DLR, DPR, etc.). Knowledge of Quantity Surveying (QS) and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS). Financial management and budgeting expertise. Leadership skills with a focus on team development and problem-solving. Proficiency in construction management software is an advantage. Experience : Minimum of 10 to 12 years of experience in project management in the construction industry and Mivan Shuttering. Education : A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional who thrives under pressure and is committed to delivering projects successfully while maintaining a strong focus on quality, timelines, and client satisfaction.
