Project Manager

Job Profile: Project Manager – Construction Management Company: GIRIDHAR GROUP Location: Pune, Maharashtra Department: Project Management / Construction Reports To: Head – Projects / Director – Construction Job Summary: The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all phases of construction projects from inception to completion. This includes overseeing project planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution, quality control, and safety compliance. The role requires strong leadership and technical expertise to ensure that all residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle, from conceptualization and design coordination to execution and handover. Prepare and monitor project schedules, budgets, and work progress. Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and clients for seamless project execution. Ensure compliance with all statutory, legal, and safety regulations at the construction site. Review and approve drawings, BOQs, work orders, and progress reports. Implement effective cost control, quality management, and resource optimization measures. Conduct regular site visits and review meetings to monitor performance against targets. Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to avoid delays or cost overruns. Manage project documentation, contracts, and progress reporting as per company policies. Foster teamwork, ensure effective communication, and maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. Minimum 10 years of experience in construction project management across residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use developments. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with modern construction techniques, project management software, and quality standards. Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Expertise in project planning, cost estimation, and scheduling tools (MS Project / Primavera preferred). Sound understanding of contracts, drawings, and specifications. Proactive, organized, and capable of working under pressure. Strong commitment to quality, safety, and timely delivery.
