Role Summary

Project Manager – Fundraiser

Key Responsibilities

Proposal Development & Fundraising

• Lead the design and writing of compelling

  proposals, concept notes, and presentations

  tailored for CSR partners, government agencies, foundations, and international donors.
• Collaborate with program, finance, and communications teams to develop high-quality proposals aligned with donor priorities and organizational objectives.
• Identify, research, and pursue new funding opportunities and partnerships to expand Samvedna’s donor base.

Donor Engagement & Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with CSR partners, foundations, and government stakeholders.
• Ensure timely and professional communication, proposal submission, and follow-up with potential and existing donors.
• Represent Samvedna at CSR forums, donor meetings, and sectoral events to enhance organizational visibility.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain an organized repository of project proposals, concept notes, MOUs, and donor communication records.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly fundraising status reports and projections.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate documentation and compliance in all project submissions.

MOU & Contract Coordination

• Support in drafting, reviewing, and revising MOUs, grant agreements, and partnership contracts in coordination with legal and finance teams.
• Ensure that all agreements are in line with organizational policies and donor compliance requirements.

Desired Skills & Competencies

• Strong expertise in

  proposal writing, concept note preparation, and CSR/government presentation development

• Excellent

  written and verbal communication skills

  with strong command of professional English.
• Sound understanding of India’s

  CSR ecosystem

  , government funding mechanisms, and donor engagement strategies.
• Ability to translate programmatic ideas into persuasive funding proposals and impactful storytelling.
• Strong networking, analytical, and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in

  MS Office, PowerPoint, and fundraising databases/CRMs
