This role involves coordinating across departments, managing project timelines, and ensuring effective documentation and reporting of compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver compliance projects end-to-end, ensuring timely execution and adherence to defined standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Legal, IT, Security, Procurement, and Operations) to implement compliance directives and remediation actions.
- Monitor compliance status and track closure of open issues, audit findings, and regulatory gaps.
- Support periodic audits and assessments (internal/external) by preparing required documentation and evidence.
- Assist in developing and maintaining compliance frameworks, checklists, and project trackers.
- Identify process gaps and propose corrective or preventive measures to enhance compliance maturity.
- Prepare project reports, dashboards, and management presentations highlighting key risks and progress.
- Ensure project activities align with corporate policies, regulatory guidelines, and ISO/industry standards.
- Support awareness sessions and compliance training programs for stakeholders.
Required Skills And Competencies
- Strong understanding of compliance principles, risk management, and governance frameworks.
- Experience managing multiple projects with tight timelines and cross-functional coordination.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
- Working knowledge of standards/regulations such as ISO 27001, GDPR, SOX, or internal compliance policies.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Monday.com, or similar).
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certification in project management or compliance (e.g., PMP, CCEP) preferred.
- Experience - Minimum 5 yrs
