Role & Responsibilities

 

  • Own the successful delivery of project deliverables, while ensuring business value meets customer expectations.
  • Create and maintain PMO artifacts, such as the project plan and JIRA board, to ensure the on-time completion of project tasks.
  • Track risks and issues, facilitate problem resolution, and manage the communication and escalation of issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide project status reports and debriefs to company leadership on a weekly basis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Oracle product teams, developers, testers, and project managers.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users to ensure alignment.
  • Provide go-live and post-implementation support to ensure solution effectiveness.
  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the business and IT organizations.


Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the Utilities domain.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience working in the utilities (water, gas, electric) industry.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (waterfall and agile).
  • Experienced in leading projects utilizing standard project management tools (MS project, JIRA, Smartsheet, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable providing project updates to senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, promote effective communication, resolve conflict, and handle conflicting priorities.
  • Demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills and a keen interested in delivering high quality deliverables.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • 4+ years of experience working in the utilities (water, gas, electric) industry
  • Experience working in a call center environment.
  • Knowledge of Oracle utilities products (CX4U, CCB, C2M, etc.)
  • Experience in full-cycle Oracle Utilities implementations or upgrades.
  • Experience in the consulting industry.
