We at Coforge are seeking a “Project Manager Officer " to lead project governance, contractual compliance, and process improvement initiatives within large-scale government programs. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in project governance frameworks, contract management, RFP processes, and Business Process Reengineering (BPR), with a proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder government projects.
• Project Governance & Oversight:
• Establish and manage project governance structures, reporting mechanisms, and review frameworks.
• Monitor adherence to project plans, timelines, budgets, and compliance standards.
• Track project performance metrics and ensure alignment with program objectives and KPIs.
• Contractual Compliance & Risk Management:
• Ensure adherence to all contractual terms and obligations between government and vendor entities.
• Identify, track, and mitigate risks related to scope, cost, and delivery.
• Liaise with legal and procurement teams to ensure compliance with government norms and contractual frameworks.
• RFP & Procurement Support:
• Draft, review, and evaluate RFPs, RFIs, and tender documents.
• Support bid evaluation, vendor selection, and contract finalization processes.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure clarity and completeness of requirements.
• Business Process Reengineering (BPR):
• Analyze and optimize existing business processes to improve efficiency and transparency.
• Lead stakeholder workshops to identify gaps and define new workflows aligned with digital transformation goals.
• Develop process documentation, SOPs, and implementation roadmaps.
• Stakeholder Management & Coordination:
• Act as a key interface between government departments, vendors, and internal project teams.
• Facilitate review meetings, status updates, and governance reporting.
• Ensure alignment between project goals, policy objectives, and stakeholder expectations.
• Strong understanding of project governance frameworks and PMO best practices.
• Expertise in contract management and government procurement norms (GFR, GeM, RFPs, etc.).
• Demonstrated experience in Business Process Reengineering and process optimization.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale government or PSU projects.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, Project Management tools (MS Project / Primavera), and reporting dashboards.
• Certification in PMP / PRINCE2 / ITIL / Six Sigma will be an added advantage.
• BE/BTech / MCA .
