Role Overview

The PMO Operations & Governance Specialist will be responsible for driving end-to-end operational governance, ensuring process adherence, timely reporting, and smooth coordination across delivery, HR, finance, and BU leadership. This role ensures timely timesheet compliance, structured onboarding and exit processes, standardized dashboards, and operational hygiene across all business units.

About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented PMO Specialist to support and streamline delivery operations in a scaled organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing stakeholder communications, driving core PMO activities, and ensuring operational excellence through data-driven reporting and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Coordination:

Collaborate with HR, Finance, Admin, and Delivery teams to ensure seamless operations.

Act as a liaison between internal teams and clients when required.

Support d elivery leads in resolving operational challenges.

PMO Activities:

Manage billing cycles, timesheet tracking, and compliance.

Prepare and present monthly operations reviews.

Maintain accurate and timely reporting across delivery functions.

Operations Data & Analytics:

Own and manage delivery operations data including resource utilization, financials, and project metrics.

Develop and maintain dashboards for client satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Provide insights and recommendations based on analytics to improve delivery performance.

Governance & Process Excellence:

Ensure adherence to organizational policies and delivery standards.

Support audit readiness and governance activities.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across delivery operations.

Qualifications:

37 years of experience in PMO or delivery operations roles within scaled IT or consulting organizations.

Strong understanding of delivery metrics, financial tracking, and operational governance.

Proficiency in Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and project management tools.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in client-facing roles.

Exposure to HR, Finance, and Admin processes.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
