As a Project Leader at Hitachi Automation India Pvt Ltd, your role involves controlling and monitoring all project-related duties with a focus on BIW project handling. Your responsibilities will include handling in-house site activities, coordinating with the internal team and customers, and micro-managing project-related activities. You will be required to possess the following skills: - Handling BIW projects for Automotive OEMs - Good knowledge of BIW design, process, quality, estimation, budget, and cost control - Preparing and floating RFQs as per customer requirements and Cycle Time - Detailed schedule preparation and acting as a single point of contact between the customer and internal team - Monitoring Customer Schedule and Execution at the site as per the Milestone - Preparing the process flow layout about the assembly and obtaining approval from customer requirements - Sharing commercial costing with the Marketing team during Customer RFQ (i.e., Costing) - Preparing cycle time and manpower allocation - Providing technical guidance and support to the team - Communicating all quality/process requirements to welding Cell suppliers in consultation with Q.A - Executing Welding Cell at Customer end as per approved Layout & Scope - Proving out at Customer end after installation of Cells - Final buyoff of all welding Cell with confirmation of requirements as per the Customer - Part presence sensors & Poka-yokes in Assembly fixtures, PFMEA review, and approval - Assembly fixtures design approval with Customer - Welding Cell installation in-house as per project timeline with First in and First Out technique - Layout welding Cell to achieve targeted cycle time as per process planning sheet - Strong customer interface and satisfaction - Handover the cell to production after PPAP done Your experience should range from 6 to 10 years, and the education required for this role is a Diploma/BE/B.Tech.
