Job Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated Mechanical Automation Engineer to design, develop, and implement automation solutions in our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, industrial automation, and hands-on experience with tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, PLCs, sensors and actuators. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop mechanical systems for automated equipment and machinery. RFQ preparations for buying machines. Collaborate with electrical, software and production teams to integrate mechanical components into complete automation solutions. Select appropriate mechanical components, materials and manufacturing methods. Create detailed 2D/3D CAD drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM). Perform simulations and testing to validate designs and ensure performance standards. Optimize existing mechanical systems for efficiency, reliability and safety. Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of automation systems on-site. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company quality standards. Maintain documentation and reports related to design, testing and project progress. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field. 5 years of experience in mechanical design and industrial automation. Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software. Basic knowledge of control systems, sensors, pneumatics and robotics. Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, welding and assembly. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team. Preferred Skills (Optional): Knowledge of GD&T, FEA, and DFM principles.
