Role Overview: As the R&D Project Manager at our organization, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the delivery of power quality solutions within the company. Your main responsibility will involve working closely with a cross-functional team to ensure the successful delivery and execution of solutions in alignment with project priorities. Key Responsibilities: - Hold overall responsibilities for managing assigned R&D projects within the power quality business. - Act as a key contact for the project, building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. - Contribute to defining project plan deliverables, including scope, financial plans, and schedules, and manage and follow up with suppliers. - Monitor project progress, resource utilization, and financials according to budget and forecast. - Ensure project follows execution best practices and Hitachi Energy policies. - Act as a key contact for customers, serving as an escalation point for project issues. - Ensure compliance with company health, safety, and environmental policies, as well as applicable external and internal regulations. - Possess a proactive and highly organized approach to coordinating teams, including remote locations. - Demonstrate strong leadership and management skills, along with effective communication abilities. - Resolve issues, lead teams, and work constructively with internal and external relations. - Exhibit a structured way of working and confidence in both personal and leadership capacities. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a minimum of 8+ years of experience. - Knowledge of project management in system business, preferably within the power system domain related to Research and Development. - Possession of Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is considered an additional advantage. - Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP, and Microsoft Project. - Proactive and highly organized experience in coordinating teams, including remote locations. - Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
