Project Lead / Manager - SCIR Pune

Job Summary:

The Manager – SCIR will oversee and coordinate the entire spinal cord injury rehabilitation (SCIR) program, ensuring high-quality service delivery across intensive rehabilitation, community rehabilitation, training, advocacy, and partner organization strengthening. This role involves program management, clinical coordination, team leadership, government and donor liaison, reporting, and innovation to strengthen SCI rehabilitation at both center and community levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Lead the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of all SCIR program activities.
• Supervise multidisciplinary teams (physiotherapists, community therapists, psychologists, coordinators) across multiple locations.
• Strengthen partnerships with hospitals, NGOs, government departments, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure quality assurance across rehabilitation services, community-based interventions, and training programs.
• Coordinate donor reporting, prepare proposals, and support fundraising efforts.
• Lead strategic initiatives including advocacy for SCI policies, database strengthening, DPO formation, and new project innovations.
• Conduct regular field visits for monitoring and team support.
• Organize capacity-building workshops for internal staff and partner organizations.
• Analyze program data and prepare biweekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Ensure compliance with financial, operational, and clinical protocols.
• Contribute to leadership discussions for program scaling, research, and strategic planning.

Accountability:

• 
  Report to the Senior Manager – Programs regarding SCIR program status, risks, and opportunities.
• Ensure program alignment with organizational goals, operational standards, and donor requirements.
• Maintain ethical conduct, transparency, and adherence to APD policies.

Required Qualifications:

• 
  Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy
• 
  3+ years of experience in rehabilitation, health programs, or disability project management.
• Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and working with government and community partners.

Preferred Qualifications (if any):

• 
  Specialized certification or advanced degree in rehabilitation management, disability studies, or public health.
• Experience in policy advocacy, donor engagement, and strategic leadership.
• Prior experience working with spinal cord injury rehabilitation programs.
