As a Project Head, your role involves overseeing various aspects of project planning and management to ensure successful completion of construction projects. Your key responsibilities include: - Developing detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets aligned with the hotel brand and client requirements. - Managing project scope by identifying and mitigating potential risks throughout the construction process. - Conducting constructability reviews to address issues early on. - Overseeing procurement processes, such as selecting contractors, negotiating contracts, and managing material deliveries. - Regularly monitoring construction progress on-site to ensure compliance with design plans, building codes, and safety regulations. - Conducting quality inspections to uphold high standards of workmanship and materials. - Addressing quality issues promptly and implementing corrective actions. - Leading and motivating the project team, including contractors and subcontractors, towards achieving project goals. In terms of budget and cost control, you will be responsible for: - Tracking project expenses closely to ensure adherence to the established budget. - Identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing value engineering strategies. - Managing change orders effectively to minimize cost overruns.
