Job Description: Project Coordinator

SHEOWS is a leading NGO dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and care of destitute and abandoned elderly individuals. We provide medical support, shelter, dignity, and an improved quality of life to elders in need. The Project Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring smooth project operations, effective documentation, monitoring, and field coordination across centers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Coordination & Implementation
- Coordinate day-to-day project activities across assigned centers.
- Ensure timely implementation of project plans as per guidelines.
- Monitor progress and identify operational gaps or challenges.
- Support field and operational teams in ensuring smooth execution of project interventions.
2. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare high-quality project reports, monthly/quarterly updates, and documentation.
- Maintain accurate project records, data sheets, attendance logs, and activity reports.
- Draft case studies, success stories, field visit reports, and donor/audit documentation.
3. Monitoring & Evaluation
- Track project indicators and ensure accuracy.
- Support assessments, surveys, monitoring visits, and evaluations.
- Provide feedback to improve program quality and impact.
4. Stakeholder & Team Coordination
- Coordinate with field staff, supervisors, medical teams, and coordinators.
- Liaise with donors, government officials, and partner organizations.
- Assist in trainings, awareness programs, and community outreach.
5. Administrative & Operational Support
- Support documentation, procurement, and compliance processes.
- Ensure adherence to policies, donor guidelines, and reporting standards.
- Assist with donor documentation, proposal inputs, and audit preparations.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong report-writing and documentation skills.
- Understanding of project management and field coordination.
- Knowledge of elderly care, community health, or development projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Canva.
- Strong communication and team coordination.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Empathy and commitment to serving vulnerable communities.
Preferred Qualifications
- MPH (Public Health)
- MSW, B.Com, B.Sc, MBA (including fresh graduates)
- Experience in NGOs, healthcare, elderly care, or community-based programs.
