Job Description

Job Summary:

The Project Associate will play a key role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of skill development projects under NSDC, State Skill Missions, or other government initiatives. The candidate will assist in managing project operations, stakeholder coordination, documentation, and reporting to ensure effective and timely project implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the end-to-end implementation of skill development projects as per NSDC or government guidelines.
  • Coordinate with mobilizers, trainers, training centers, and field teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Support in mobilization of candidates, batch formation, and training operations.
  • Maintain and update project trackers, MIS reports, and documentation as required.
  • Liaise with government officials, partners, and stakeholders for project-related coordination and approvals.
  • Monitor attendance, training progress, assessments, and placements of trainees.
  • Prepare and submit periodic progress reports, photos, and data on relevant portals (e.g., NSDC, State Skill Mission).
  • Assist in conducting center visits, audits, and quality checks.
  • Support in organizing events such as mobilization drives, placement fairs, and review meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with project deliverables, documentation, and reporting standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Education, Social Work, Rural Development, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in the Skill Development sector (preferably under NSDC / State Skill Development Missions / CSR-funded training programs).
  • Strong understanding of project documentation, MIS, and reporting processes.
  • Good communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data management.
  • Ability to travel to project locations as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in handling portals such as NSDC SMART, SIP, or related MIS systems.
  • Knowledge of assessment and certification procedures under SSCs.
  • Exposure to mobilization, placement linkage, or monitoring & evaluation in skill projects.
  • Fluency in local language(s) will be an added advantage.

Compensation:

As per industry standards and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹16,554.52 - ₹20,000.00 per month
