Job Description

The Project Analyst role supports across multiple project workstreams and lifecycles to ensure delivery of project objectives, plans, documentation, and reporting. This role will work closely with D&A Operations leaders and senior members of the Program Management Team to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of transformation programs. Key Responsibilities: Joins and holds meetings to assist the project leads by monitoring project progress, timelines, task progression, and advising the project leads and workstream when activities are behind schedule or over budget. Builds knowledge and shares awareness of market, technology, data, operational related trends & initiatives, by contributing curated research materials, white papers, business cases, on a regular cadence as agreed by Operations LT members. Supports the team by coordinating meetings, printing materials, taking minutes, maintaining accurate action and decision logs and updating the status of program results. Carries out accurate and detailed risk logging in line with LSEG risk processes, including risk assessments reviewing the probability and severity of risks. Leads the repository of standard methodology project templates, project library, filing, recording and reporting systems and continuously identifies improvements. Assists with the monitoring of a change roadmap for the portfolio and uses change management processes, policies and standard methodology. Maintains high-quality and up-to-date data, analyzing information to support project and program reporting and status updates. Monitors the records of project resourcing requirements and capacity to support resource optimization. Key Skills: Uses project management methodologies to lead project resources and activities. Collects, analyses and interprets data to reach conclusions and/or present insights and findings. Maintains and runs the organization's databases and/or Project Management tools across multiple platforms. Produces management information and analyses for trends. Communicates with clarity and precision, presenting complex / technical information in a concise format that is audience appropriate. Identifies the best solution to overcome problems. Seeks new ways of working continuously to make processes run smoother and faster. Interacts well with others, quickly establishing rapport building positive relationships and networks. Documents the risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies on a project and drives formal change control standards and governance. Demonstrates the discipline of planning, organizing and managing resources and activities to achieve specified outcomes within a clearly defined timeframe and standards. Understands different approaches to project management (e.g. Agile, Waterfall etc.) and ensures flexibility to deliver and implement within different ways of working. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong Microsoft office knowledge (excel, PowerPoint). Must be prepared to work UK/US hours as and when required.
