Job Description

The Programme Manager is responsible for the coordination, direction and oversight of the implementation of a set of related projects and activities in order to deliver outcomes and benefits related to the organisation s strategic objectives. Location is India or China.

- Understand the strategic direction of the organisation, ensuring that there is an alignment of the suite of projects to support the business objectives.

- Define and phase programme tranches (projects and other related work) lead the integration across all projects and organisational boundaries to deliver outcomes and benefits to achieve programme benefits

- Monitor, control and manage overall programme performance through effective cross functional coordination and effective stakeholder management. Responsible for on time delivery of Projects KPI (milestones/spending/product cost)

- Effective risk management with internal and external environments

- Ensure compliance to functional standards and policies are adhered to. Actively promote and drive process improvement for efficiency

- Lead, coach and motivate programme team as needed.

The Programme Manager will ideally have 7+ years experience in the management of programmes/ projects of increasing complexity with proven record in the successful delivery of change through the application of programme management. Ideally is a full member of a professional body (APM, PMI) Experience in all stages of a programme lifecycle and has been responsible for the delivery of one or more of those stages on aerospace products Experience of working in a non-core programme management role eg Procurement, Commercial, Engineering etc Experience of setting up and high performing cross functional IPT team Experience of dealing with ambiguity in highly complex environments Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex information with individuals at all levels within the organization

Frequent Travel is expected

English with a second language is preferred
