Program: (AOP), ART Department
Location: Vadodara and Ahmedabad
Reporting to: Program Lead, AOP
Mode: Regular/Contractual

About Udayan Care:

Udayan Care, a public charitable trust established in 1994, operates across 38 cities in 15 Indian states, uplifting vulnerable children, women, and youth through mentorship, education, and skill development. Recognised nationally and internationally for transparency and impact, the organisation has directly impacted over 1.11 lakh lives.

About AOP:

The Aftercare Outreach Program supports young adults transitioning from Child Care Institutions by providing education, skills, employment training, and life skills. Since 2020, it has empowered 680 care leavers across India, offering long-term mentorship and support.

Role Overview:

The Program Coordinator will ensure the successful execution of AOP activities in the assigned cities, working closely with care leavers, government agencies, mentors, and partner organisations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all project activities and stakeholders at the city level
  • Support youth through education, skilling, mentoring, and placements
  • Maintain project budgets, reporting, and timely deliverables
  • Organise workshops and manage logistics
  • Build partnerships for training, internships, and job opportunities
  • Ensure internal coordination with other departments
  • Contribute to program strategy and quality documentation
  • Weekend availability required

Requirements:

  • Around 2 years of experience in a national/multi-state level NGO, preferably working with youth and skill-building programs
  • Experience working with underprivileged youth
  • Master’s degree (also considered) in any recognised discipline; preference for Social Work from a reputed institute
  • Excellent verbal communication and documentation skills (client-facing and internal)
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Drive, and tech tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
