Job Summary

The Operations Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing operations activities in a manufacturing plant. The role involves managing production schedules, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and improving operational efficiency. The Operations Manager works closely with various departments to ensure smooth and cost-effective operations.

Key Responsibilities

Production Management

• Oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing plant.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet company goals and customer demands.
• Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards and efficiency.
• Coordinate with the production team to address and resolve production issues.

Resource Management

• Manage human resources, including hiring, training, and supervising staff.
• Allocate resources effectively to maximize productivity.
• Maintain inventory levels of raw materials and finished products.
• Ensure equipment and machinery are properly maintained and operational.

Process Optimization

• Analyze production processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop action plans for continuous improvement.

Quality Control

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record of managing and optimizing production processes.
