Job Description

Role:

An excellent production planner is well-versed in production procedures and ways to optimize them. The goal is to ensure the smooth and cost-efficient flow of our production operations. Evaluating Customer Purchase orders or Internal work orders released by our marketing to create scheduling and deliver of the goods on time. Analyse back orders, current orders and upcoming orders to prioritize, plan, and schedule the production operations by optimising, best alignment of 4M & Resources.


Requirement:

  • Customer Demand management
  • Customer centricity : Understanding & aligning of BOM from design, ECN, Revisions.
  • Capacity Planning : Must know about creating routings, Good experience with SAP or any equivalent ERP system.
  • MRP _ Material requirement planning
  • Shop Scheduling
  • To coordinate with other departments to facilitate production, regular coordination with QA, MFG, PUR, DESIGN, SALES for a collaborative approach for maximising sales
  • Must know excellence (Kaizen tools, QC tools, SPC, DWM, Trade-off thinking, good practices, PDCA, Execution road maps, Checklist.)
  • Advantage if knowing Processes of fabrication, Furnace scheduling, Assembly of medium and heavy equipment’s, Store / Warehouse, Inventory.

Qualification:

  • BE - Mechanical
  • Must have driven the department independently & efficiently, a thought leader
  • Proven experience working as

    a central planner

    . Must know product project management tools.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Sound knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and related software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience: 6-12 Years
