Cost Estimation - Assistant Manager

Role Purpose To lead and manage cost estimation activities for glass lined process equipment during the pre-order (RFQ) and post-order stages. This role involves advanced cost analysis, vendor coordination, cross-functional collaboration, and periodic updates of material and process costs to ensure accurate and competitive pricing. Role Location Anand, Gujarat Internal Designation Cost Estimation - Assistant Manager Team Size Individual Contributor Role Key Responsibilities Oversee the cost estimation of static and rotary equipment based on engineering drawings and specifications. Lead the costing process during RFQ and post-order stages, ensuring accurate calculation of raw material, BO, and process costs. Periodically update standard equipment costing data in coordination with procurement and engineering teams. Analyze vendor quotations and negotiate for competitive pricing where required. Collaborate closely with design, procurement, and branch offices to ensure cohesive cost strategies and alignment. Provide cost inputs for budgeting, profitability analysis, and management decision-making. Support the development of cost estimation tools and process improvements. Mentor and guide junior estimators, if applicable.
