Job Description


ASPS International, a leading manufacturer and exporter of men’s formal wear and smart casuals, is looking for a Merchandiser to manage styles, orders, and production coordination across global buyers and internal teams, ensuring premium fits and impeccable quality. This role will partner closely with our technical, production, and sourcing teams to deliver on-time, high-quality garments that reflect our blend of old-world craft and modern technology.​

Key responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end merchandising process from sampling, costing, and order confirmation to bulk production and shipment for men’s formalwear and smart casuals.​
  • Coordinate with international buyers, respond to enquiries, share product ranges, and ensure clear communication on specs, timelines, and approvals.​
  • Liaise with internal design, technical, cutting, and production teams to translate buyer tech packs into accurate samples and bulk orders.
  • Plan and monitor T&A (time and action) calendars, track fabric and trims, and ensure on-time delivery against shipment schedules.​
  • Analyse order performance, costs, and margins, and support pricing decisions that align with company targets and buyer expectations.​
  • Work with QA and production to ensure quality standards are met, handle size-set, PP, and TOP approvals, and resolve any quality or fit issues.​
  • Support new product development by sharing market trends, buyer feedback, and opportunities for new styles within men’s tailoring.
Required skills and qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Textiles, Apparel Merchandising, or related field, or equivalent experience in garment export merchandising.
  • 2–5 years of experience as a Merchandiser in menswear / formalwear / apparel manufacturing (export house or large factory preferred)​
  • Strong understanding of garment manufacturing processes, fabrics, trims, and fit for men’s tailoring.​
  • Proven experience in handling international buyers, T&A management, and coordinating across multiple departments.​
  • Good analytical and numerical skills with proficiency in Excel and basic ERP or merchandising tools.​
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple orders and seasons simultaneously.
Nice-to-have
  • Experience working with European/US menswear brands or retailers.​
  • Familiarity with CAD patterns, fit sessions, and technical documentation for tailored garments​
