PRODUCTION MERCHANDISER

As a Production Merchandiser, your primary role will involve managing and coordinating production schedules efficiently to meet order deadlines. You will collaborate closely with design, sourcing, production, and quality teams to ensure the smooth execution of orders. Your responsibilities will also include preparing and overseeing Bill of Materials (BOM), production files, and time and action calendars to keep production on track. Additionally, you will liaise with suppliers to secure timely delivery of raw materials and trims, ensuring quality standards. Conducting pre-production meetings, managing approvals for samples, trims, and subcontracted work, monitoring production progress, resolving any delays or quality issues, and keeping all stakeholders informed will be crucial aspects of your job. Ensuring compliance with safety and quality specifications throughout the production process will also be a key responsibility. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Engineering, Apparel Production, or related design/technical field from a fashion institute. - Minimum 3-4 years of experience in merchandising, with hands-on involvement with designer or premium brands. - Strong organizational and communication skills, with proficiency in managing production timelines and vendor coordination. - Knowledge of fabric, trims, and garment construction, along with experience in preparing tech packs and BOMs. This role requires a proactive professional who can effectively bridge the gap between design and production to ensure timely and quality delivery of fashion products.
